My classroom has a lot of active and visual learners. As such, only using books and worksheet does not have the same impact on them. These hands on STEM activities will help those kinesthetic learners be engaged and understand through physical representation.
The STEM challenge cards and microscopes would be a great way to incorporate small group activities for my students to practice their communication with each other as they work through these challenges.
My students struggle working together and I believe this can help guide them into working together and persevering through challenges as a team. These activities will go a long way in ensuring an engaging and impactful learning experience.
