I am a Special Education teacher who teaches English Language Arts to students with intellectual, learning, and behavioral disabilities. My students are energetic and excited to learn, but we need help! A necessary element for a successful reading workshop model is to provide an extensive classroom library to ensure all students are able to connect with a book of choice to make their reading experience accessible. By offering a comprehensive classroom library, my students are able to access the world of literature. The books in my classroom will help my 10th and 11th graders become successful readers.
