I plan to use the iPad to showcase simulations as well as model various drawing techniques to the class. The ability to share my screen with all the students simultaneously will increase engagement since all students will have a clear view. The tools on the tablet will also allow me to save videos of the drawing process and post them to students for when they need a reference. In my science class, we solve physics problems, and the ability to show students the step-by-step process will minimize confusion and reduce anxiety since they will be able to see the process and replay a video of me explaining the steps at their convenience.
The use of art supplies in my class is an almost daily occurrence. Having enough color pencils, pencils, and erasers for the students to be able to work on their projects without having to share supplies. Less pausing and waiting will allow them to stay focused and interested in the learning process.
