I currently serve a population of 9th through 12th grade students, over half of whom are considered to be living below the poverty line. Many of these students do not have the resources or support at home to maintain healthy lifestyles. My school has been working to improve our Health and Physical Education courses and incentive programs, but limited funds create limitations for the activities and resources we can provide for our students.
