The materials chosen will help make a difference in my students’ learning by providing them with hands-on, tactile materials. My students benefit from the incorporation of tactile and visual exploration, as well as play into their learning environments. The Alphabet Sounds Teaching Tubs include real objects that my students can begin to make connections with letter-sound-item correspondence. Many of my students have increased difficulty with their comprehension of spatial/positional word concepts. The Positional Words concept box would be used to continue giving them supports and teaching of such concepts. The Touch Read CVC items would be so helpful for my students working on their production of simple word forms at the single-word level. Given their diverse range of speech and language needs, the materials chosen can be used with many different students based on their specific skill level. The items requested can be used during differential learning groups, as well as with students using various modes of communication. My students require adapted materials and many of those I purchase from TeachersPayTeachers (TpT). The adapted materials are made specifically to meet the needs of students with differential diagnoses and skill levels. Please help me to give my students the best chance at developing fundamental language skills and concepts!
