I teach in a small rural community in Oroville, CA, where many of my students face significant challenges, including poverty, home life trauma, and limited academic support at home. Despite these hardships, they show incredible resilience and a deep eagerness to learn. Every day, they come to school ready to do their best, determined to grow and succeed. My students deserve a learning environment that nurtures their curiosity, creativity, and academic growth. With the right materials, supplies, and tools, I strive to provide them with a safe, joyful, and engaging space where they feel supported and inspired. By ensuring they have access to the resources they need, I can help open doors to new opportunities and empower them to reach their full potential.
