My students need to be able to perform simple tasks like tying their shoes, buttoning their shirts, and zipping their pants. I am asking for fine motor activities resources that will help my students practice these skills while enhancing their fine motor abilities all around. These resources and activities can be used during our center groups, so that each student has the time to repeatedly practice and strengthen their fine motor skills with the assistance of an adult. The dressing frames will help my students work on their abilities to fasten their own clothing independently during toileting times at home and in school. The tweezers and fill it up jars will assist my students on honing their fine motor abilities to complete tasks such as moving small objects, writing, and grasp.
The more our students are able to practice using the muscles in their hands, the more strength they will have to use them effectively and independently.
