Our classroom will be a "home" away from home. By providing these materials, students will become avid learners. Young learners become antsy, but because of the health precautions of COVID-19, students must be apart from each other. We do not have a lot of space, so students will exercise and do yoga on these mats.
I want to make learning fun. By providing magnetic letters, young readers and writers can put the letters together to create words. The math manipulatives will help young mathematicians count and solve math problems. The stickers will help motivate students to do well in Social Studies, Math, Reading, Writing and all the different subject areas. I have many charts across the room. When students do well, I will give them a sticker so that they themselves can put it by their names. This will help keep track of their learning. Some of the items in the cart are placed to help decorate the room.
