Our brilliant scholars are learning the art of reading and writing Japanese characters. Not only will they learn the Japanese language, but also the culture and mental discipline that comes from the art of calligraphy. This project will help students experience kinesthetic learning with a swish and a flick of a brush! Through hands-on engagement, students will develop a deeper understanding of Japanese history, culture, and mindset. The requested brushes, ink, and paper will be used for students to practice writing Japanese characters. As part of our world languages program, our goal is to give our students opportunities that will increase their appreciation for diverse people and cultures. Thank you for considering this project!
