Looking into my students eyes in the morning and seeing that they are just not ready to learn is heart breaking! Giving them all a chance to fuel their bodies is not only necessary for learning but is showing them that I care. It gives them the energy to do their best! Providing this simple kindness takes away so much anxiety. If a student is worrying about where their next source of food is coming from, it prevents them from using their brain to succeed! Thus, causing a myriad of other problems.

About my class
