The students of Garrett Middle School are going into first year of concert band with me as their teacher and are expected to make great strides. Unfortunately, the amount of students enrolled in band far outweighs our instrument availability. Our students play on broken and borrowed inventory. Yet, they light up with excitement with each day of instruction. With instrument availability so scarce, we're depending on people like you who know first hand the value of music in a child's development.
