My students are a mix of avid and emerging readers, who attend a Tier 1 6-8 middle school in Brooklyn. All my students love to debate the issues found in the non-fiction articles. In addition, they enjoy reading the plays aloud in class and identifying the fictional elements that we study in ELA. Please support this project, so my students can develop their skills in reading and writing while preparing to enter the world they will soon be engaged in!

About my class
