Our school is starting the READ 180 Reading Intervention program for our struggling readers. Most of our students do not have the money to get the most basic supplies. Additionally, most of our students read 3-5 grades below reading level.
We are trying to raise money so that we can outfit our READ 180 classrooms in the most appealing and motivating ways possible. We are trying to give all the tools students may need for sucess.
We are trying to set up a reading center that is less like a classroom and more like the comforts of home--full of comfortable chairs, pillows, rugs, blankets, and more!
Lastly, because READ 180 is an intense intervention helping the least motivated readers, we are hoping to use your generous donations for incentives for our students when they reach various achievements throughout the year.
