It is my goal to show all students that they can connect our learning to the world around them. By having hands on projects to reinforce the curriculum we can help students understand the connections between the teaching and thier environment. I hope to create an atmosphere of excitement and engagement for my students. These students have encountered inconsistent learning, and instruction due to staffing shortages and the COVID Pandemic.
With the GrowLab II Tabletop Indoor Garden my classes would be able to demonstrate mastery of the concepts of Photosynthesis, Cellular Respiration and Energy Flows by seeing first-hand how they affect the world around us. My learners develop mastery by engaging and participating in exciting labs and hands on learning. This equipment would allow my students the ability to follow our curriculum and standards and they develop throughout the entire semester.
