Our school is located in an urban setting, with a low socioeconomic background. Most students rely on the books our school library has. However the selection of books has been significantly impacted due to budget cuts. We are a public school and as such we do not have much in the way of disposable funds. The majority of my students are English Language Learners. They enjoy a good laugh and books that they can relate to.
