I recently began a new position as an Early Literacy Specialist working with k-3 students. I picture each of my sweet students and how together they make up an amazing group; one that is kind, compassionate, fun, filled with energy and has an authentic love for learning. Although some students face various hardships such as the passing of a parent, physical and learning disabilities, and hunger, their love of school, friendship, and discovery is present everyday they enter our classroom. My goal is to foster and enrich their learning and their lives. I want to help them make new discoveries, uncover new ways of thinking, to be more confident in their skills, and guide them to a strong growth mindset and a passion for learning that will stay with them beyond our classroom.

About my class
