Although they are kindergarten, it is difficult to complete all the work needed in a school day. My students work in small groups and are often pulled to the side to be assessed through one to one interactions to show their full potential. When students are pulled to the side to be assessed, it is often during class time. The students need to rid them selves of other distractions, which is why I need a separation for my classroom. Further, it helps to have an iPad in order to assess students in different areas of the classroom by providing opportunities that they would enjoy instead of tasks they avoid. Students attend for longer periods of time with the use of technology and such interactions. With these tools I will be able to enhance the students educational abilities and give them a leg up in the world.
