I am a second year teacher at a rural school in South Carolina. I teach eighteen bright, bouncy, eager to learn second graders. My children are the sweetest, most inquisitive children with a thirst for knowledge and a desire to succeed. These children are all on drastically different levels with drastically different needs to help them succeed. It is my educational philosophy that children need to be looked at as more than numbers and data but as individuals that can and will make a contribution to society. Every year my biggest hope is that my children leave my room a better person than the person they walked in as.
