These supplies will help me set up my classroom and prepare for the new school year in a new classroom and new school. I have moved to a new Title I school in a rural community. I am excited to help students further their education in an environment that it nurturing and caring. It is my passion to make math fun for everyone regardless of their mindset about the math classroom. I want to ensure that all students are able to succeed in the math classroom to ensure their future endeavors whatever that may be.
The document camera that I requested will be used to instruct students from all areas in the room to ensure that all students are engaged. This is also ensure that I am able to give each student the attention they need without ignoring others. The glue sticks and scissors will be used for classroom activities whether individually or as a group to help reinforce skills and learning targets. The lap boards will create opportunities for all students to have a white board at their desk to do work as well as allow for classroom activities for the students. The label maker will allow me to organize the classroom and help keep supplies where they need to be. It will show students the proper place to put things they borrow. The RocketBook will allow me to upload and share notes digitally with students who are absent from school or need some extra help with certain concepts in the class room. In the age of technology, I have found that the more that I can share with the students digitally the better chance they have of keeping up with it.
