Many of my students are the first to become American citizens. Their parents want the best for their children but at times they cannot help their children at home because they can't read English. Our diverse population is comprised of students from 40 different cultures and I am proud to be a part of this diverse group of students. We must treat others equally. Every child deserves the same chance at success not matter where they come from. I want my students to be successful and where they come from has no bearing on their ability to receive a great education.
