My students are third graders that love to read! Our school is a primary school located on marshland next to a river. Our school flooded due to Hurricane Sandy. We have been displaced for a few weeks while our schools floors and recently returned to our school after our repairs were finished. Some students are still displaced and living in hotels because their homes were flooded. School has become their only constant in day to day life.
