I teach 23 third graders at Reseda Elementary School, a Title I school in Reseda, CA. My classroom is a multicultural space with 11 English Learners speaking three languages. I try to find creative ways to bring engaging learning experiences to my students through Project Based Learning and hands-on opportunities. We emphasize social emotional learning to create a safe haven where student feel comfortable being themselves, taking risks, and growing in an environment of tolerance.
