I am requesting programmable robots and a charging cabinet so that my students can learn and apply coding skills. Coding is a valuable 21st century skill that all students should have the opportunity to learn. I would like to create opportunities for students to use technology to show their learning in content areas. I believe that these robots offer ways for students to code their way to victory. These skills will also help students to prepare for future learning and careers in STEM fields. Sphero robots are amazing tools for individualized learning. Students will be able to code the Spheros with an app that has differentiated levels of programming based on their knowledge and experience. They will also be able to check them out to work at home.
