I teach the entire fourth grade student body which ranges from special needs to gifted. Students are talented in the performing arts from singing, drawing, acting, to dancing and step. My classroom motto is built upon 4Rs that was eventually adopted by the entire school. I believe in fostering a learning environment that produces students that are
-Respectful (to all)
-Resourceful (when you don't know the answer, you go to who/what can help you)
-Responsible (take charge of your learning and life)
-Refined (when you make a mistake, you have the opportunity to be better without penalty)
Our school's mission is to engage students in instruction that integrates academics and performing arts in ways that address the unique needs and interests of each student, while intentionally developing confidence, imagination, and collaboration.
