Many of my students come from low income households and cannot afford their own calculators. This has been a disservice to their mathematics education and road to mastery of Algebra.
Therefore, it becomes difficult for students to take exams as well as comprehend the material without the ability to graph at their fingertips. The students are eager to learn how to graph functions in the TI-84 calculator in order to analyze and interpret different mathematical models.
As young scholars, these students deserve access to the best possible equipment to set them up for success! Please join me in creating the most equitable classroom environment for my students!
