I now teach in a suburban school where 60% of the students families live below the poverty line. Despite their impoverished backgrounds all of my students are eager to learn and are receptive to new information. Each day I strive to expose them to not only text but to the emotional, social and physical parts of education. At times it is difficult to be thorough with lessons because the resources are lacking. For example, sometimes there aren't enough books on varied topics or even manipulatives that can enhance lessons. I am grateful to this source for helping me explain and attain things that are so imperative to my students learning!
