I teach in a Dual Language Kindergarten; a Title 1 school where more than 60% of the students and their families live in poverty.
Some of them face different challenges in their homes, but in our class these kindhearted students accept and support each other.
In our room you will find a diversity of backgrounds, cultures and abilities, but all students have great potential and greatness.
Despite their limitations, these bilingual students are enthusiastic, dedicated, and excited to learn, both in English and Spanish.
