My school is a Title 1 school because most of our students receive government assistance of some kind. They come to school with a lot of their plates, trouble at home, hungry stomachs, family members in jail, and unfortunately much more. These obstacles could understandably cause an attitude of giving up, but the opposite is true.
My students inspire me to work hard every day because they never give up. I try to give them an environment that matches their high standards and determination, but some things are a little out of my reach. With your help, my students could have the learning environment they deserve!
