As a Title 1 school in Maryland, funding is very limited. Students in the city are not afforded the same opportunities or learning experiences as students in the county. This is my first year as a full time art teacher, and my school's first full time art teacher in a few years. I really want to make an impact on my students.
I truly believe that with the supplies to run an art room, I can have a truly impactful year. I want to push my students to be more creative than they ever imagined, and really let them know how limitless and capable they are.
