I am a preschool teacher to 20 bright eyed scholars. Located in an often overlooked community in the city, my students are already at a disadvantage. Yet, with a spirit of perseverance a love and excitement for learning, they manage to inspire me daily. My school is an underfunded public school with no supplementary funds for necessities (i.e. books) or field trips.
