I have the sweetest group of first graders this year. Each student comes to me with the best smile each morning, and are eager work hard each day. This group of students comes to school ready to learn and grow. They love listening to stories and using math manipulatives. My students come from diverse backgrounds and bring their own set of skills and challenges. I work hard to meet each student where they are at to help instill a love of learning. Many of my students come from low SES homes and need extra support to be successful. I have students with special needs and those who just need extra support to be successfully academically. I try to support my students in any way that I can to ensure that they are able to learn, grow and be happy!
