I teach students in each of the K-5 classrooms on a daily basis. These children are some of the most creative, energetic, and eager young people I have ever encountered. I'm always amazed at how excited they are to learn and try new things. Thus, my goal has been to challenge and push them out of their comfort zone. I have already seen tremendous growth, but I know these students can do even more. Doing more sometimes means securing materials that are out of our school's budget range. The African proverb, "It takes a whole village to raise a child," really speaks to one of my core beliefs as an educator child upbringing is a communal effort. Won't you join my community and help me grow the creative spirits of these students.
