Aloha donors,
When entering my classroom you will see a diverse batch of students. You will see the local grown students of Waimanalo and Kailua, the kamaaina that have moved here and adopted the Hawaiian culture and local customs, and you will also see the keiki (children) of our service men and women. Beyond who they are or where they come from, in our class our students feel safe. I promote and encourage an intellectual safe space for students to collaborate, grow, discover, and feel. In our English classroom we are striving to find our best selves by reading, writing, and communicating through physical and digital mediums. Our class is our home away from home. Thank you for helping us create a home for all students and their needs.
