Our computer labs are seriously underfunded and we are experiencing an extreme shortage of headphones for students. I have purchased several sets from the dollar store to try to make do, but they are flimsy and break easily. Our students use the labs everyday to complete State mandated tests and to work on technology lessons that prepare them for citizenship in the 21st century. The students do the best they can with broken headphones, but I believe they could do even more if given functional headsets! I would love to be able to present them with high quality headphones at each computer. What a difference it would make!! I can imagine the students' and teachers' delight if they came into the labs to find functioning headphones!
