My Students:
I have the privilege of spending everyday with a very energetic class of 3rd graders! Our school is a Title 1, high poverty and trauma, inner-city school. Everyday my students bring more than just a backpack to school but also personal struggles along with their academic strengths and weaknesses. Our classroom is a collaborative and inclusive environment with over half of our students receiving Special Education services from the Exceptional Education teacher who I co-teach with. I believe that with the right environment, materials, and opportunities all of my students can learn and feel successful in my classroom.
