These materials will help keep our class organized and fun which provides comfort to young learners getting used to the routine of school. The manipulatives will provide hands on learning to really allow students to learn through play. My students will reinforce their learning during station times using these manipulatives. My goal is to provide well organized activities with these materials.
My goal is for students will learn to take care of their classroom materials and these hands on activities allow students to learn through play.
I believe in laying a foundation of organization for Pre-k. The storage bins and pocket charts will allow our literacy and math centers to be beautifully displayed and organized. Students will use the writing journals to create a year long portfolio allowing them to see how their writing has improved and use the rainbow writing strips to practice writing their name daily and later vocabulary words for each unit. The float and find ABC bubbles will go in our already existing water table to create a fun and exciting literacy center. Magnets will be used to display our calendar we will use during afternoon meeting daily as well as hanging our beautiful directed drawings and creations. Counting cones will provide a very fun math and dramatic play station for our young pre-k students.
