Returning back to face to face instruction after a year and a half of virtual learning has been a big adjustment for my 6th grade students, especially my EL and Special Education students. They are having to overcome a big learning gap as well as having to adjust to having several teachers instead of just one. Although my students are struggling to keep up, they are eager to learn and participate in class. By having a flex-space write table, I can work with 3 to 4 students at a time in small group and help them with the concepts that they are struggling with, thus closing the learning gap.

About my class
