Distance learning has put us on the fast track to digital learning. Not all students, especially young students with special needs,d have the ability to conform to this new standard of learning. Chromebooks with touchscreens will enable my students to access digital curriculum and educational software more independently. No need for a keyboard or mouse, a touchscreen will kick start communication and learning for my young students. These Chromebooks will enable my nonverbal students that are not able to use a mouse or keyboard to respond with the touch of a finger. They will be able to grow with the device and learn to keyboarding and mouse skills at a pace that is appropriate for them. The will be a valuable tool in and out of the physical classroom.
