Hi there! My name is Ms. Luc, and I am a 2nd grade teacher. In my classroom, I offer many different learning opportunities to help my student learn authentically. I believe that learning is a movement. Children, parents, and teachers work together to contemplate ideas, create learning experiences, and celebrate new understandings. In my classroom, children have the opportunity to become active participants in the learning process. My educational philosophy is as follows: I believe that the child is capable to develop ideas and think critically about content presented to him/her; I believe that the child learns through a variety of multi-sensory, engaging, and inclusive methods that provide him/her opportunities to make real-world learning connections; I believe that all children have gifts that enhance their individual, unique, identities.
