My class consists of 13 students in a self-contained special education classroom. Some of the disabilities that my students have include intellectual disabilities, behavioral disorders, low-vision/blindness, and Deaf/hard of hearing. The students come from low-income backgrounds, and they do not have access to many of the necessary tools which would allow them to receive the best education that they possibly can. My ultimate goal is to give my students access to these items and resources, and assist them with achieving success. My students are kind, compassionate, and eager to help others and learn. They have an enormous amount of potential, and given the necessary resources and tools, they will thrive.
