My students are all profoundly gifted learners who come from all over the Phoenix metro area to attend this special gifted program. I teach at a public school in Arizona, but students must all test in and qualify for this unique learning experience. Generally, students enroll in the self-contained gifted program because they did not fit in in a traditional classroom, and the teacher was unable to meet their extremely accelerated pace. Unchallenged gifted learners often end up hating school and often become behavior problems. I love working with this group and watching them thrive.
