I teach 25 remarkable students at a Title I school, all from immigrant families of color. Every child qualifies for free lunch, and most are English Learners working to find their voice in a new language and world. Many carry worries and uncertainties that no child should have to face, yet they show up each day with curiosity, hope, and an incredible eagerness to learn. These bright, resilient children need extra love, attention, and encouragement to believe in themselves and know that their dreams are possible. With the right support and resources, they can flourish academically, grow emotionally, and feel the confidence every child deserves.

About my class
