My students come from low-income families that can not provide headphones for them.
The headphones are on their supplies list and most of the parents can not provide them. This would really help to have a class set that they can use every time they need them. We use them for math and reading, also for testing time.
Also being that they will go to 2nd grade they must know how to read and most of my students struggle so I am hoping that using magnetic letters to create words and using the syllable book to help them improve their reading by practicing making and recognizing words.
