We are a very small urban school serving Kindergarten through fifth grade students from low income households. For some students, my classroom is their first education experience. Our school offers free breakfast and lunch to all students. To help students have better access to base necessities, second chance breakfast is offered for students who miss the first opportunity. Our staff works together to instill attributes of scholastic perseverance and compassion by practicing these qualities in every interaction. I work everyday to create a space where students feel safe to inquire and explore.
