My students come from a variety of backgrounds and homes. There are families from different countries, families from Wisconsin, families who are home for dinner and families who are not. I have the opportunity to work with many different needs and many different parents. We build a community even though there are so many differences. This emotional connection is crucial in my classroom as we cannot grow if we are not connected.
