Welcome to Kinderland! My name is Taylor Nyman, and I am lucky enough to be a bilingual kindergarten teacher at Voices College-Bound Language Academy in San Jose, California. At Voices, all of my students are language learners who are challenged to learn and think critically in two languages. My young students are brilliant, enthusiastic, and engaged scholars who are eager to learn, help, and try their best. I earned my Bachelor's degree from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, where I double-majored in Mass Communication and Spanish, and minored in Latin American Studies. I am currently pursuing my Master's in Urban Education Administration and Policy from Loyola Marymount University. I am a Teach For America 2014 corps member and fully believe in TFA's mission: one day, all students will have the opportunity to attain an excellent education.
