Computers don't have to be the enemy. When used correctly, computers can be an important tool in any student's arsenal. Currently, the computers in our classroom are from the early 2000s. In addition to being both slow and out of date, they take up much of our, already minimal, space.
These Chromebooks would be a gamechanger in my Kindergarten classroom. They will give my students more opportunities to work on their math, literacy, and typing skills. We will use the Chromebooks for ST Math and RAZ Kids during their respective workshop times. My students will learn how to properly care for their materials and recognize that having access to technology is a privilege they can use to better themselves.
