Our campus has recently been awarded a grant to become a STEAM school! We will use the sensory table to do experiments with water, sand, and soil for Science and Social Studies. My students will be able to bring letters and shapes to life with a different sensory approach besides the basic writing materials. With the gift of an IPAD, we can continue technology-based interventions to help with Reading and Math. Students will also be able to create short videos to present projects. I am so excited to start introducing new, fun, and multi-sensory approaches to my teaching & their learning!
