The great majority of my Students are Diverse Learners, homeless, and those who have been asked to leave their current school setting because of their dysfunctional behaviors. Altering their mindset has been challenging from; invisible to visible, impossible to possible, to - I can do that. Being the first in their family to graduate high school with some who have a vision, desire, and reachable opportunity to attend college is beyond was beyond their imagination. I described to them every little step; successfully completing class assignments, earning credits to graduate high school, asking your Teacher for assistance, staying late to successfully get your classwork assignment completed for knowledge, create a vision board, picture yourself graduating. During school assemblies I have marched them into the school auditorium to visualize themself walking to pomp and circumstance graduation walking march .
