Hello and thank you for visiting my page!
My name is Carmen Romero-Ayala, and I teach a wonderful group of fourth graders at Kempton Street Literacy Academy in Spring Valley, California. I’m proud to teach in a Dual Language Immersion program where instruction is 50% in English and 50% in Spanish.
Our school is a vibrant community serving students from preschool through 5th grade. The majority of our families are Latino and many face economic challenges, but they are full of determination and resilience. Despite the obstacles, our students come to school eager to learn, grow, and dream big.
I’m passionate about creating a classroom where every child feels seen, supported, and inspired. Your support helps provide the resources and opportunities they need to succeed — both academically and beyond.
